{"id":37,"date":"2012-02-05T07:49:37","date_gmt":"2012-02-05T13:49:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ttemple.com\/natural-design\/?page_id=37"},"modified":"2017-05-29T07:57:11","modified_gmt":"2017-05-29T12:57:11","slug":"about-tom-temple","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ttemple.com\/natural-design\/about-tom-temple\/","title":{"rendered":"About Tom Temple"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After graduating from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas during the energy crisis of the late 1970s, Tom Temple began designing and building passive solar homes and greenhouses, first in Kansas and later in central Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mobile_badge\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-173 alignright\" style=\"border: 0px none;\" alt=\"merit-badge\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ttemple.com\/natural-design\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/merit-badge.png\" width=\"178\" height=\"264\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the intervening years, as national concern over energy consumption waned, he became involved in more traditional construction and remodeling, always with an emphasis on energy efficiency and conservation.
